Best of Black Friday 2018 & Shopping Tips

As you’re all aware, Black Friday is around the corner and it has fast become the biggest sale event of the year. Previously, we could expect to see the best sales on Friday but year by year we’re beginning to see sales go live earlier than Black Friday itself. Starting in a few hours, the mayhem will begin.

Here are some things to remember to make sure you make the most of the sales!

Top tips

• Visit your favourite retailers now and save your favourite items so you’re ready to purchase when the sales go live.
• Don’t wait until Friday to grab the best deals! Most sales go live earlier, with some starting as soon as Monday so if you want to be sure to get your size in a popular item then I’d take the plunge earlier in the week (if the item is on sale of course).
• The snow and below freezing weather is yet to come so if you need to refresh your winter wardrobe, now’s the time. Think warm coat, thigh high boots and scarves!
• Replenish the makeup you typically repurchase for the year; foundation mascara and your favourite lipsticks.
• Now’s the time to buy trend fashion and beauty items if you’ve had your eye on them! Everyone loves a teddy coat and a berry lip in the winter.
• Don’t forget non-fashion and beauty buys, Amazon and Debenhams typically have great Black Friday deals too.
• You’ll save the most money purchasing discounted luxury items so if you were planning to treat yourself to a designer handbag or shoes, now would probably save you some money! In the past, I’ve seen Stuart Weitzman highlands, Valentino Rockstud Pumps and my beloved Fendi Peekaboo go in the Black Friday sale!
